I am also on myspace with my intrumental music: www.myspace.com/leemichaellangdon.  I’m still hoping to make a real CD someday, that would be fun.  Till then it’s whatever I can come up with using my ancient tools.

Lee & Miss Martin

Here’s a little of my personal music history…

Music has been a passion of mine since I was a boy.  My earliest music memories are watching my father play and sing in his rock band with my uncles, and listening to my mother sing songs around the house like an angel–especially to comfort me.  Melodies filled my head early on.  I learned to sing in the home privately (I mean very privately, like in my bedroom closet) and on Sundays and Wednesdays at the church where I grew up in New Jersey.  Also, being the younger, I watched my two older talented brothers on the school stage and behind the school stage and knew one day I would also sing in front of people.  I guess I was right.

I attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and graduated with a B.A. in Music and a minor in Missions.  At the time of graduation it was a strange and presumably hopeless degree combination to have, but doors opened for me time and again to use all of my academic, spiritual and performance training I received at Harding, and later at Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  I have been leading worship ever since for various congregations and have written different styles of music as well.  Playing my guitar and singing in a coffee shop is one of my favorite things to do these days!  I record music a cappella and with instruments, all to the glory of God!  You will also find me arranging music for congregational singing whenever I can.  Music has proven to be a passion of mine and one that inspired even this blog.
