What’s Your Name?
How do you answer this one important question: What’s your name?
It’s is deeper than it sounds. I’m not asking for your name as we normally think name, like “Hi, my name is Lee.” No. What’s your name?
What is your identity?
What are your living for?
What is your purpose in life?
When you wake up in the morning, what’s the most important thing to you?
That’s what I’m asking.

So, what’s your name?
Will you take a moment and “post” me an answer?
Lee
Here’s the lyrics:
What’s your name
What’s your color
What’s your purpose in life
Your purpose in life
What’s your name
Do you have a moment
Can you give me an answer
What’s your purpose in life
Your purpose in life
What’s your name
Ev’rybody lives for somethin
Ev’rybody lives for somethin
Ev’rybody lives for somethin
What’s your name
What’s your name
In the morning
Time to rise and shine
Where will the minutes go
No second can rewind
Top priority
On a list of ten to one
What are you living for
What are you dying for
What’s your name
La la la la
When it’s over
Time to move on from here
Will you be ready to go
And leave your life behind

One Response to “What’s Your Name?”
I would have to say that at this point in my life, my grandchildren are the most important thing to me. I introduce myself as Vicki Case, but I am Nana. I think children need loving grandparents as well as loving parents. My kids are self sufficient and don’t necessarily need me, but the little ones still do. I try to remember to do something nice or say something uplifting to someone every day and I am devoted to giving my grandchildren good self esteem and self confidence. Their parents do this also and for that I am proud.
